Things and ideas to beautify the home
My daughter Chapel turns 5 in a couple of months and her big present is a big girl bed. She's currently snug as a bug in our converted Stokki crib/toddle bed but it's time she get a full sized bed. Chapel has her heart set on a canopy and I think she's earned it. Now to find...
Easter is around the corner and I came across these great stores to help get the decorating going Etsy style!
I am moving on up from a 1 bedroom, 1 bath to a 3 bed, 3 bath and these are some of the most fantastic sites I have found for unique and fun items.
Want to add some spice to a wall or walls? I came across these beautiful wallpaper art!
I'm in the midst of redecorating my office. Some ideas i'd love to incorporate.

A SkinnyScoop member commented: Whatever is easiest to clean. In fact, a self-cleaning surface is the one I prefer. Let me know when you find one of those.
A SkinnyScoop member commented: I think all of these are important but certainly the starter (or non-starter) when we looked for our last new home was number of bedrooms. It could have a gorgeous master bedroom or kitchen, but without 4-5 bedrooms it wasn't going to work for our family. Plus you can always fix up a master bedroom or kitchen.

A SkinnyScoop member commented: We are not in the market right now but I would certainly be concerned about the market, what I would get for my other house, etc if we were looking. At the same time, I look at a house as a very long term investment. We plan to be in our current house for 20 years.
A SkinnyScoop member commented: I can't say that I am very stylish so we have had hired a professional decorator for most jobs. I do peruse Pottery Barn catalogs and store displays for ideas. I also have some friends with great taste so it's fun to check out their homes. And I am very into some of the HGTV design shows.
