A SkinnyScoop member commented: I love Social Media for the information and connections I've found and made. That being said, I don't find it appropriate to announce serious personal news via the web. There has to be some privacy left in this day and age.
A SkinnyScoop member commented: The SkinnyScoop team tends to think this is funny since I came out in the middle of Extrovert and Introvert. Interesting quiz!
A SkinnyScoop member commented: I try so hard to make sure the people in my life know that I think they're amazing and that I care about them so much. I attribute this to growing up with parents who always told me they loved me, now proud they were of me, etc.
A SkinnyScoop member commented: All the time!!! I've met a lot of people by just getting into a conversation that I've eavesdropped on. I've never had a negative experience with this so I believe it all has to do with your approach. Again, this is another reason why people don't believe that I'm actually a shy person.
A SkinnyScoop member commented: Scorekeeper in a friendship? Is that really a friendship? Sadly, I've had a friendship where I felt that she was always keeping score while I never found the need to do so. Fortunately we are no longer friends. I think real friendships should want the best for each other and encourage one another to reach for their goals.
A SkinnyScoop member commented: Eden - people never believe me either. I'm the same way. I get intimidated very easily in new situations and I need to survey the situation first. I've been accused of being snobby, but I'm not being standoffish, I'm just not sure what to say, so I don't say anything!! I'm also not afraid to speak in public. I also have decided early on in my life that I wasn't going to let my shyness hold me back.
