  A SkinnyScoop member commented: I think a wind power label would be a tie breaker for me but I would not be willing to pay more or accept lesser quality. I do sometimes pay more for organic or recycled items though not substantially more and only for select types of products or produce.

• If a relative continually gave cheap, plastic toys & trinkets to your kids (ungreen, waste of $, clutters house) would you say anything?

  A SkinnyScoop member commented: I feel your pain. I'm in this exact situation. My Mom thinks about her grandchildren all the time and is constanly purchasing these very things for them all the time. I can't bring myself to hurt her feelings so I say thank you, let the kids play with them for a bit, and then give them to charity.
