• What is your favorite kind of vacation?

  A SkinnyScoop member commented: If it's just my husband & me than I would go with international travel - Paris is my favorite city in the world! If it's my family (2 kids ages 4 & 6 years old) than we like visiting out-of-town family including my parents. Of course an amusement park is always great. We went to Legoland with the kids this past summer - it was so fun. Next summer is all about Disneyland!

• How often do you carry a suitcase on a plane, instead of check it?

  A SkinnyScoop member commented: I carry on rather than check as often as I can. There are times where that is not possible, like traveling with kids. However when I travel solo I always find a way to pack a bag that I can carry on. I've had a few bags lost in my day and I always hate having to wait for luggage claim.

• When flying, do you check your bags or do you only bring carry on luggage?

Otherwise, it depends on where I'm headed - if it's to my parents house on the East Coast I know I can easily do laundry so I pack lightly. If it's for a longer trip without easy access to a washing machine/dryer I will absolutely check a bag.
