I just bought this camera this year and it was a definite must-have since I had been wanting a more professional camera for awhile. I bought it just before my sister's wedding and definitely got some great shots of the whole event. My new gadgets of 2012 are definitely going to lenses and accessories for this guy.
Krista: I have a Canon Rebel and while I bought it in '08, it's still something I can't live without. An SLR makes all the difference! I definitely need to get some different lenses, accessories, etc. for mine too.

This is my must have app of 2011. I quickly switched from Pandora to Spotify when it was released and I was able to set up an account. While Pandora is still a great app, I like the idea of having my own playlists with Spotify. I don't use the app on my phone but I do use it on my computer while listening to music at work.

If I had a dollar for everytime I used Shazam to identify and purchase a song I'd be able to buy my dream handbag! This was my best discovery in 2011 by far.
Jackie: Agreed! I use Shazam all the time...I even like it as a song "bookmark"..I may know who sings the song but I tend to forget that I want to find it on iTunes or listen on YouTube.
