Many jewelry designs are inspired by natural and human made structures. There are two common design directions. The first draws inspiration from Nature’s Superstructures, from the strength of a spider’s web to the innovation of a beehive, from a bird’s nest to the crystalline structures of minerals like quartz. The second direction is inspired by technology, reflecting innovations like nanotechnology, minimalist architecture and art, along with man-made materials like stainless steel.
