OMG - I am clearly getting scammed.I have been informed that the going rate is $50 for the first tooth and between 5-10 for every tooth after. I like the chart illustrated above way better!
$1.00 $
a dollar COIN
$2.00 or m... $
I am SO mad at the parents in my kids class who give $10/tooth or a present for every tooth. I recommend strongly that you bring this up at back-to-school night and/or the class list for kindergarten and first grade - if you're brave enough to do that. Very helpful to establish a "market" before someone else does. We also told our kids that there are many tooth fairies; ours brings $2. Amazing that Camilla's brings a gift every time, isn't it?
$0.50 $
$1.00 for the first one, with a congratulatory note from the TF explaining that all subsequent teeth are at $0.50 each

My daughter writes a note and the Tooth Fairy brings what she requests. So far, this has happened only three times, and in all 3 cases she made reasonable requests: 1 webkinz and 2 littlest pet shop sets :) Also, for her most recent tooth, my daughter requested a toy car for her brother, and so he received something too :)
$1.00 $
My 6 year old son just lost his first tooth! Based on the info here, we are going with $1 possibly a dollar coin if we can find one. It may drop to $0.50 after the first tooth. It can add up!
