It's actually less than 1 hour/day. I don't let either of my kids (ages 6 and 3 years) watch any TV Sunday through Thursday. We do a "family" movie night (kids' movie or DVD) on Friday night. We only have one TV in the house, and as a consequence, my husband and I hardly watch any TV, either.

Sometimes slightly over 2 hours. It is one of my shortcomings as a parent. My kids are both into it and have never been big sleepers. Not sure I would have made it through parenting without the t.v. Don't know how moms go without it. Feel that I am causing them some major developmental delay but can't change it.

while i get dressed in the morning. it's part of our routine and they do not ask for more.

TV time after dinner is part of their nightly routine after which we read together and then do tuck in. My kids almost never watch TV outside this nightime schedule except if they are sick & home from preschool.
