Did you keep all of your first kid's clothes for future kids, or give the clothes away and plan to buy more when and if the time came?

Kept just ...
I gave them away to either my sister or my friends, so knew that if I ended up having a 2nd boy they would be able to give them back to me. My 2nd was a girl so I ended up buying almost all new clothes. For my son, I kept nothing - no sentimental stuff. For my daughter, I kept a few things that I had worn when I was a baby & plan to do something w/ those dresses (any artistic ideas?) when she outgrows them.

loaning to a friend but kept a few v sentimental items...
Kept all o...
I set aside a couple of favorite items to save in a memory box for the first one, and I'm doing the same with the second. Otherwise, they have identical wardrobes, and no one would ever know that the clothes aren't new. Babies fit into each size for exactly 12 seconds; it's hardly enough time to wear them out!

Not only that, but most of them came from one of my sisters, who also has two boys...so now most of them will have been through four boys. I'll give them all away when I know we're done having kids; in the meantime, I keep it all unless it's gotten way too bedraggled/stained or it's stuff that I never put either of our boys in (cutesy and/or designer, i.e. branded on the front, clothes are not our style - no bubbles for our kids).

I kept about 50%- afterall, to use them again you have to 1) have another baby of the same sex and 2) have them at the same time of year. Some clothes I didnt like the first time around, so I got rid of them right away.

I kept everything from my daughter. Found out I was having my son next, so went through her clothing and kept only the sentimental/favorite items. Same thing with my son, but with my son, I have not been keeping items as frequently. If I have another child, the clothing will be outdated and worn.
