I told my nanny it was okay to let baby nap on the go but she seems fussy. What's the best way to retract that?

I don't know that you have to do any sugar coating or beating around the bush. I think its fair to come up with a new schedule and share it with your nanny. So that may mean that there are blocks of time the nanny needs to have your baby at home sleeping in the crib and blocks of time where your nanny needs to ensure your baby is not dozing in & out of sleep in the stroller. I wouldn't feel bad retracting especially since you can share that the current schedule (or lack thereof) is causing your baby to be fussy.
I'd just point out that she is fussy and you want to try naps in the crib for a week and see if it changes. naps in the crib are SO MUCH better for my family - i am willing to bet there is a big change. also, don't be too easy on your nanny. you are the parent and she works for you. it should be in her best interest to act in a way that is best for your child. i have found the nannies that i have been businesslike with have been much more effective, happy to be at work, embraced by my children etc
