I knew they would have a great time so didn't really have a problem with it. I had been leaving my children at home with our nanny since about 2-3 months old so its not that I wasn't used to leaving them to go to work. What I found interesting was that my nanny totally lost it the first time she dropped our older son at preschool - the teachers had to tell her to leave & let him come in - he was a-ok!

I cried when I sent my first daughter off to high school, not kindergarten!

I cry plenty, but not when sending the kids to school. More like when I get home from work and the house is a disaster, multiple loads of laundry to be done, dinner needs to be prepared, and someone needs to help the kids with their homework -- all within the next 90 minutes before the kids are falling asleep. That, my friends, is what I cry over.

yes absolutely..... worst day of my life.

My firstborn had a harder time going to school and was very upset for about a week. It was very hard to hold back the tears. I guess I should have cried when my "baby" went to school because she never really looked back!

I still cry. Yesterday she told me that kindergarten was awesome! I cried, I was so happy for her (and for us!)
Baby
I thought I would with my firstborn, but he was too happy the first day for me to be sad :)
