Goldie was born with the name Goldie Jeanne Hawn on November 21, 1945, in Washington D.C. She spent her early childhood in MaryLand alongside her older sister, Patti Hawn, and schooled in Montgomery Blair High School.

Their elder brother Edward Jr. passed on at an early age even before the birth of Patti. She is biracial with a Jewish mom whose parents came from Hungary. Her dad, on the other hand, was of German and English origin. Her mom Laura dealt in jewelry and owned a dance school while her dad Edward Rutledge Hawn was a musician and performed at events in Washington. As a child, Goldie started to hone her different natural aptitude. She started taking dance classes at age four and later became a ballet teacher after dropping out of American University where she was studying drama. She also worked as a professional dancer for a while before starting out her acting career.

Actress Goldie Jeanne debuted as a cast member of the CBS comedy, Good morning, World but her career really took off when she appeared in a 1969 film titled Cactus Flower. The comedy film drew top ratings for her ability to keep things interesting. She introduced fun contents and her admirable wit also made her stand out in the film. Her performance won her Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress. Also, the role got her bombarded with many film roles and over the next three decades, the actress moved increasingly towards fame, taking up major roles while maintaining her thriving status in the industry.

She became a sought-after star after that success and appeared in countless films including There’s a Girl in My Soup, The Sugarland, Bird on a Wire, The Banger Sisters, and host of others. She took a break from the limelight in 2013 after appearing in the TV show Phineas and Ferb focusing on her foundation named The Hawn Foundation which offers youth education programs. She, however, returned to the TV in 2017 and has so far, won more awards and Golden Globe nominations for her works. Apart from her successful career, Goldie keeps looking great and happy physically in her 70’s. There is this undeniable glow and radiance that she consistently gives off.

Goldie Hawn has a long list of past lovers and husbands but her love life changed after finding the “right person”.

She was first married to Gus Trikonis, famous dancer and director widely known for his role in West Side Story. Their wedding which happened in 1969 crashed in 1973 only four years and Hawn didn’t take much time to love again or file a divorce before dating different people in the entertainment industry.

In 1975, she got engaged to Bill Hudson, one of the music group Husdon Brothers known for their song; “So You Are a Star”. After her engagement to Hudson, she deemed it right to finally file for divorce from her ex-husband Trikonis. In 1976, her lawsuit came through ending her relationship with Trikonis legally. The same year she walked down the aisle with Hudson whom she had met on a flight from New York to Los Angeles. In 1980, after two children, a son Oliver and a daughter Kate Hudson, the actress filed for divorce from her second husband and just like her first separation, she began dating other men before the case was finalized in 1982.

Hawn’s daughter Kate is a businesswoman, author, and actress. She gained public’s attention for her role in Almost Famous. Also, her son Oliver is an actor and widely known for playing Adam Rhodes in the comedy series Rules of engagement

Goldie didn’t give up on love even though her second marriage failed. She continued to explore until she met Kurt Russell on Valentine’s Day 1983. The couple first connected in 1966 on set The One and Only Genuine, Original Band but started dating after the filming of Swing Shift.

They have been dating since then and share a son named Wyatt, born in 1986. Wyatt is also an actor and ex-amateur ice hockey player. Besides her biological children, Goldie lives and care for Russell’s son with his ex-lover Season Hubley named Boston.

Goldie and Rusell’s relationship has faced several breakup rumors, however, the duo has weeded all side comments. They grin every time they are sighted and remain of the winners of unmarried couples. Recently, they celebrated 35 years together and both own homes in different locations including Palm Desert, New York among several others.
