Omarosa Manigault Newman is a famous personality on not just TV scene but also in the political circle. She is a former White House aide and the only African-American to have served in a senior role in Donald Trump’s White House.

Who Is Omarosa Manigault?
Born on February 5, 1974, Omarosa was raised in Youngstown, Ohio which was equally where she was birthed. She had a blissful childhood living with her parents Theresa Marie and Jack Thomas Manigault Sr. until in 1981 when her father was assassinated. She schooled at The Rayen School and made her way into Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism in 1996.
With big dream and ambition, she went on to receive her Master’s degree at Howard University. She also began the process of obtaining a doctorate degree in communication but stopped along the line. Omarosa Manigault started her career in the 1990’s during Clinton’s administration in the office of Vice President Al Gore as a scheduling correspondent but often titled herself as Deputy Associate Director of Presidential Personnel. She was however transferred out of her official position due to her chronic bad and disruptive attitude to the White House Personnel office and later to the Commerce Department.
She proceeded to receive biblical training at the Payne Theological Seminary in Wilberforce, Ohio. Omarosa also joined the United Theological Seminary in Ohio for a Doctor Ministry degree in 2009. Several years later, she earned a minister’s license from Weller Street Missionary Baptist Chruch in Los Angeles, Califonia. In 2012, Omarosa got ordained as a Baptist minister and became an assistant pastor in her church. The move baffled many who knew about her unruly behavior. Apart from becoming a pastor, Omarosa gained prominence when she featured in the first season of NBC’s reality TV series The Apprentice, Celebrity Apprentice, as well as All-Star Celebrity Apprentice all hosted by Donald Trump.
She joined the cast of NBC’s Fear Factor in 2005 and hosted the debut season of the reality dating game show The Ultimate Merger in 2010. The TV personality has also appeared in hosts of other TV projects such as Girls Behaving Badly, Touched (2015) and We Are Family (2017), amongst others.
The TV star has also served as a political aide of Donald Trump. Of course, her appearance in all the versions of The Apprentice may have enhanced her relationship with Trump but she already owned an enviable resume before their meeting. As a huge supporter of the Democratic Party, she served as a political consultant in Washington DC from 2000 to 2004. Four years later, she became a managing partner at Access America Enterprise Corporation. In 2014, she also fought for the District 1 seat on the Los Angeles United School District Board of Education but didn’t make it past the primaries.
In 2015, Omarosa Manigault moved to the Republican Party to take up the post of Director of African-American Outreach for Donald Trump’s campaign. After his victory in the election, Omarosa was made the Director of Communications for the Office of the Public Liason. Perhaps she became tired of the job as White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced that she tendered her resignation letter. It was rumored that she was fired by John F. Kelly. but Omarosa has insisted she resigned. She later published a book titled Unhinged which expressed adverse judgment of Trump, labeling him a racist and other strong names.
Her Husband and Family
Omarosa has known the true taste of tragedy in life. At age seven, her father was assassinated and she was forced to learn the reality of death quite early. In 2011, her older brother named Jack Thomas Manigault was brutally murdered in what was described to be a deadly lovers’ quarrel. Five years later, she lost her sister Gladys Louise Manigault to natural causes. She is now left with a brother named Lester Midge Walker.
Omarosa personal life has suffered some instability just like her political career over the years. She was once married to Aaron Stallworth, but their union which started in 2000 ended five years later. In 2010, she began dating actor Michael Clarke Duncan. They got engaged and were planning to make their marriage legal. But unfortunately, they didn’t get to exchange vows as Clarke died of cardiac arrest in 2012.
Devasted and sad, Omarosa stayed single throughout the year. However, the following year, she began going out with WWE star, Titus O’Neil. The relationship lasted for about a year before it finally crashed in September 2014.
Her love life was rekindled in 2017 when she tied the knot with her sweetheart Allen Newman at trump’s Washington DC Hotel. John Allen is a Senior Pastor of The Sanctuary at Mt. Calvary, located in Florida.
