Julia grew up in a relatively small family. She apparently has two siblings; an older brother Eric Roberts who was born in 1956 and a sister Lisa Roberts Gilman born in 1965. Her siblings are all actors. Julia didn’t have the best relationship with her brother. As a matter of fact, he was estranged with her for many years until 2004. She also has a half-sister from her mother ‘s second marriage named Nancy who died in 2014 as a result of alleged drug overdose. Apart from that very role which was her breakthrough role, Emma has numerous starring roles in various films such as We Are The Millers, Scream 4, Nerve and more. Julia’s both parents are dead. Her dad (Walter) died in 2015 at age 81 while her mom (Betty) died somewhat untimely at age 44 when Julia was 10. Walter and Betty married in 1955. Julia’s family had a thing for acting. Her parents were former actors and playwrights. The couple who met while playing in a theatrical production for armed forces co-founded children’s acting school that focused on honing kids talents. The school was named Atlanta Actors and Writers Workshop in Atlanta. It was located off Juniper Street in Midtown.

In 1971, her parents parted ways and their divorce was concluded the following year. That very year Betty found a new love, Michael Motes and didn’t wait for a second to walk down the aisle with him. Betty thought she had moved on with the right man without knowing it was the beginning of another love ordeal. Michael was very abusive and he often stayed without a job. As the situation became unbearable for Julia’s mother she decided to leave the toxic relationship. The marriage finally collapsed in 1983 on cruelty grounds after they had a daughter named Nancy. By then Julia Robert’s dad had died of cancer. Nancy later died in 2014 at age 37 of a seeming drug overdose.

After their breakup, Julia found another partner; singer Lyle Lovett. Their love flourished and in 1993, they wedded at James Lutheran church in Marion Indiana. Two years into their marriage they divorced. In 1999, Robert began dating actor Benjamin Bratt which means she took enough time off the dating circle. But the longtime didn’t save the affair that shattered yet again in 2001.

A year before their epic breakup, Julia Roberts filmed The Mexican and during its filming, she met cameramen, Daniel Moder. But there was no much fire between them because at that time Moder was still married to his ex-wife Vera Steimberg. By the time the actress left her relationship with Benjamin, the two became good friends. In less than a year of their friendship, Daniel filed for divorce from his wife. After the divorce was finalized, Daniel Moder and Julia Roberts tied the knot in 2002 in New Mexico.

In all of Julia’s past relationship, none produced a child except her current marriage to Daniel. The lovers who are apparently inseparable have three kids together; twin a boy and a girl ( named Phinnaeus Finn Walter and Hazel Patricia Mode ) born in November 2004 and son Henry Daniel Moder born June 2007.
