Consequently, he formed one, a three-man group named “Enter Sand Section,” which was made up of himself and his long-time friends Tony Gonella and Sam Mandelbaum in Manhattan Beach, California. The group released its debut album titled Truth Over Harmony in 2010. This was followed by the release of two more projects and a number of tours before the group eventually split in 2013.
Afterward, Jeff Nisen joined a hard rock band known as “Lose Control,” which released an extended play called Dark Times in 2019. Apart from the group, Jeff is also a member of the bands “Bret Bollinger” and the “Bad Habits,” where he functions as a guitarist, songwriter, backing vocalist, and music director.

Taking his profession to another level, Jeff kicked off his career as a solo artist in 2020, releasing with the release of his debut single titled Turn Out The Light, released in April 2020. This was followed by Times in Life, I Will, and Stuck Inside with You.
Speaking to Spectrum News 1 in May 2020, the guitarist revealed that he started having confidence in his voice within the quarantine period, “and that kind of changed everything. And now I feel really good about everything. My sound and who I am,” Jeff Nisen said.
Speaking further, he explained that in the absence of shows to play at and no money coming in, the quarantine kindled a desire in him to pursue his solo career, which he had always wanted to do but kept postponing. However, with nothing else to do due to the pandemic, he decided to fill the hours by making music at his recording studio in Redondo Beach.
Speaking to Spectrum News 1 at the time, Jeff said, “Every morning, I just make sure that I stay motivated to come in and work, and when this is all said and done, again, I’m going to be a solo artist with a whole new set of skills and tons of songs written.” Describing his sound, he called it “rustic-rock.”
