This is a no-stow, no-spill backpack that turns into a play tray - it attaches to the seat infront in a car, straps to a traytable or sits on a lap and opens to reveal a raised edged play surface - no more toys rolling on the floor or down the aisle!

Larissa: How great is this idea, I'd love to see YOUR list of great travel products and tips. You should create your own guide, and can even embed on your blog :)

Eden Godsoe: Very cool - never heard of this before. You have so many great ideas. Maybe you can do your own guide of cool kid products!

Graco Pack 'n Play Playard w/ Bassinet (Lively Dots)

diapers.com

Having your toddler in bed with your and/or not contained can make for a miserable trip where no one sleeps. You can buy a Graco Pack 'n Play Playard w/ Bassinet at Diapers.com for $69 less $10 off for your first purchase plus free shipping. That’s a pretty good deal in exchange for a good nights sleep. If it was too cumbersome, you could even find someone to “donate” it to and leave it at your destination.

Eden Godsoe: Definitely not something you would lug with you on an airplane but great for car trips somewhere. We also keep one at our house for visitors even though our kids are 4 & 6 now.

Lisa: We actually had to lug one on a plane recently when we couldn't find a rental service In the city in Europe where we had an apartment. I thought about buying one of those lighter-weight travel beds, but they were all tents on the floor that my 20-month-old would have rolled right out of and started walking around in the middle of the night. The Pack & Play wasn't as bad as I thought to take on the plane, and I was glad to have it. Ours has been all over in the last two years -- it was a good investment.

Content & Calm Cot Canopy

contentandcalm.com

So cool - the flexible canopy attaches to the top of the most standard cots and travel cots. It has “darkening fabric” that creates an instant night time feeling and is especially good if families are sharing one room when away from home, as others can be in the room with the lights on while your child is sleeping (in the dark). Plus they can’t see you when they wake up, which makes it less likely they will wake everyone up!

Lija: this is the absolute best, especially when sharing a room with your infant/toddler. it's fabulous.

MacLaren Volo Stroller

us.maclarenbaby.com

Simplest yet most durable. Can withstand being gate checked and squashed in a trunk. Has sun shade and is only 8.6 pounds. Best part is the easy and fast to fold 'n go with handy carry strap. No one in the security line will be staring at you as they wait for you to struggle with closing this one up. Removable mesh seat is easy to clean. (6+ months)

Lisa: Our UPPAbaby G-Luxe has also traveled well, is light, has decent features (good sun shade), and saved us a lot of money vs the Maclarens.

Phil & Ted's Me Too Portable High Chair

philandteds.com

This lightweight high chair just clips onto a table. It is a simple no fuss solution that works well when there is no highchair available. Some like it better than the (sometimes unhygienic) restaurant high chairs. Packs flat!

Eden Godsoe: This is definitely THE best portable high chair. We didn't lug it everywhere but definitely brought places when we were going to be there a while. It can easily go in the front zipper compartment of most roll luggage.

Lisa: The Zooper has more padding, so my daughter liked it a bit more than the Phil & Ted's. Same idea, though -- folds flat, light & pretty portable, fits in the bottom of mt duffel bag. We've had it on tables from Vancouver to the beer gardens of Munich, and also use it for other little ones who are visiting our house.

Medela Pump In Style Advanced Backpack

medelabreastfeedingus...

This is the go to breastpump designed for moms who pump several times a day. Convenient, comes in small backpack and is (comparatively) quiet. Sometimes you can even get the motor out and just take that part. I had to pump (unfortunately) in airports a few times, which is so fun. Don’t forget: extra batteries, extra parts, rinse the parts you can immediately if possible, and keep a scarf in your pump bag for emergency public pumping.
