This is a pretty awesome app that allows you to "scan" old photos using your phone. It gives you a number of options for editing it and then you can upload it to your FB.

Larissa: Does this really work? Will take it for a spin, thanks Jackie!

Photo Academy

As any decent photographer will tell you, photography is not just about holding your camera up to your eye and pressing the shutter button. It is a challenging and technically complex ...

This app review from TNW kind of sold me on wanting to download this app. I just bought a DSLR camera and the author states that this app gives great shooting tips for any photo enthusiast. AND luckily there is a sale on this app right now :)

Image Blender

This looks like a fun app! A unique way of blending photos and essentially creating your own filtered art. Vote "yes" if you think it is worth downloading.

Impression

This is a very cool app. I have been wanting to watermark my photos with a signature before sharing on my Tumblr and this is an easy way to do it on your iPhone. I haven't downloaded yet but would love to hear reviews.

Photo 365

"Remember Your Year One Photo at a Time". $0.99 for this app.

I am very intrigued by this app because it is a cute way of keeping a photo diary. I am thinking of downloading this one, especially because I have such a horrible memory - it'd be a fun way of recording my daily highlights :)

Pinsnap

Pinsnap is a free location-based photo sharing app that makes it easy for you to share your life in pictures with just a few clicks.

I have not downloaded this app but it seems like a cool and different way to share photos based on your location. Many apps allow you to add your location so I'm not sure if this is a definite must download..but it's free so doesn't hurt to try.

Pixlr-o-matic

There is a LARGE variety of photo filters in this app. Almost too many but they are pretty awesome. The effects are very different from other photo apps I've seen and it is all very easy to use. I recommend it :)

Recently came across this app from a friend's recommendation. I've used it once but a majority of my pics don't look that great in collage form. So it's cute for grouping pics if that is something you want to do with your photos.

ShakeItPhoto

ShakeItPhoto brings the memories of taking Polaroid photos to your iPhone and iPod Touch. Take a photo and out pops a perfect Polaroid photo. Watch your image develop and shake the image just like a real Polaroid photo to make it develop faster.

Not what I expected and not worth $1.99 (in my opinion). I thought it took photos with a polaroid aesthetic but it really just takes your already saved photos and frames it as a polaroid with the coloring effects of that. I do not recommend.

It helps you stitch parts of a panoramic scene together. It works really well at automatically snapping each part of the scene.

Jackie: I'll have to check this one out..

I love this app because it allows me to alter my photos in many ways. I can change the color, add a border, or even put a caption. I also like that my photos arent automatically shared with my friends.

Jackie: Cool, I'll have to try this one out...thanks :)
