Thanksgiving Sides

Thanksgiving is coming up and I'm already thinking of all the different things I'll be making. Here's a list of sides to add to your Thanksgiving menu or to take to someone's Thanksgiving.

Chopped Cucumber, Pear, and Fennel Salad

This sweet and cooling salad is the perfect compliment to any rich main course.

I like the freshness of this salad to cut into all the rich foods you'll have at Thanksgiving.

Brussels Sprouts with Vinegar-Glazed Red Onions

I had brussel sprouts one thanksgiving and now love having it.

Mini Apple, Roquefort and Caramelized Onion Pies with Honey

I love mini pies. So cute and perfect for parties.

Best Ever Green Bean Casserole

.

Green bean casserole is a classic Thanksgiving dish. This one looks scrumptious!

Cauliflower Gratin

I like this different take on gratin. I tell myself that cauliflower is better for you than potatoes. Haha.

Cornbread Dressing

This recipe is so simple and only requires 5 ingredients! One of my favorites.

Mashed Potatoes with Chives

This is a recipe I use every Thanksgiving. People always come back for seconds or thirds.

Ok this is more in the dessert category but I like it so much I had to put it in. Pumpkin bread evokes all the great things about Autumn. I'd keep the caramel sauce on the side for my relatives that can't eat as much sugar.

Sophia: Oooh this looks delicious!

Suggested by Larissa:

I'm usually not a fan of sweet dishes and prefer savory mashed potatoes, but this one is sooo yummy, easy and balances out the flavors of a traditional Thanksgiving meal. My family begs me to make it every year!
